This year the club decided to change the method of payment for the
remaining 150. Instead of each player paying 250 in full, they are now
given the chance to fundraise the remainder of their subs (150). This
will be done by running 3 Premiership Predictions (Buster) before the
Christmas period and for each one sold 5 is taken off those players
subs.
e.g. If a player sells 10 Busters at 10 each totalling 100. For
each one sold the player gets 5 off his subs in this case being 50
with the other 50 going into the prize fund. He will then have two more
opportunities to sell the remainder of the busters.
If you sell 10 Busters each time the competition is run (3 x 10) this
means all remaining subs is paid for the year meaning you only pay 100
out of your own pocket and the rest is paid for by the fundraising.
If players fall short of the targeted amount of Busters which he
needed to sell, the remainder of the subs is then owed to the club. e.g.
If a player sells a total of 20 busters throughout the 3 competitions
this raises 200 with 100 going to the prize fund and 100 paying off
his subs. This then leaves 50 to be paid.
This year the club will be asking all players to pay their subs in
full before Christmas.
The Club also intends to run the 2 Match Minutes from the first
week of the Premiership and 6 events throughout the year i.e. Race
Nights and Poker Nights. The funds raised by these events will be used
to purchase tracksuits, training gear and general equipment for the
Club.
Lorcan Celtic would like to thank everyone for their
help and support towards the Club.
